Product Overview
Honey
Our honey is available seasonally and depends largely upon the weather. Without rain, there is no nectar. Without nectar, there is no honey. On the other side of the coin, too much rain washes away the nectar. Like all agricultural products, Mother Nature determines production. Our first harvest of the year is typically mid-May, and our last harvest is usually mid-October. Some years, the harvests carry us year-round; other years, there is nothing to harvest. Jams and Jellies
All jams and jellies are made in-house and available year-round, the full list includes the following: Apple Butter, Blackberry Jam, Blueberry Jam, Cherry Jelly, Grape Jelly, Jalapeno Pepper Jelly, Hot Jalapeno Pepper Jelly, Orange Marmalade, Peach Jam, Red Raspberry Jam, Strawberry Jam, Strawberry Rhubarb Jam, and Triple Berry Jam.
Seasonals include the following: Christmas Jam, Chocolate Cherry Jam, and others.
Syrups
We carry both fruit syrups and Elk County, PA Pure Maple Syrup. Our fruit syrups are produced in-house and include Blueberry, Strawberry, and Wild Berry. Our Pure Maple Syrup is produced by Wittman's Maple Syrup of St Marys, PA. Boiled from start to finish, he still cooks his syrups the old-fashioned way, no shortcuts. We also carry a few of their seasonings, as well as Maple Mustard and Hot Maple Mustard.
Pickles and Relishes
While we don't have a large selection, we offer the standard choices made to complement your favorite burger or for snacking alone. Choose from Dill Snackers, Hot Dill Snackers, Bread and Butter Pickles, Sweet Zucchini Pickles, Sweet Zucchini Relish, or our standard Sweet Pickle Relish. Other flavors may pop up seasonally when fresh cucumbers are available.
Some Like it Hot
Hot Jalapeno Pepper Jelly, Cowboy Candy, Snakebite Sauce, PA Pit Viper Sauce, and Rattlesnake Rings are available for those who like things on the spicy side! Kick up your charcuterie tray, tacos, burgers, or cheese and crackers with these spicy options to challenge your tastebuds.
Seasonal Canned Items
Marinara Sauce, Tomatoes and Zucchini, Mock Pineapple, Applesauce, and Flavored Applesauces are available seasonally. Only made and stocked when in-season, they sell out fast!
Lotions, Balms, Soaps, and Scrubs
A broad category that encompasses all of our body care line, each recipe has been developed to provide you with options as good or better than a top-end beauty supply store. Our everyday Whipped Body Butter provides a sheer finish. Our Whipped Tallow Balm is made with local tallow rendered in-house and mixed with grapeseed oil for all the skin benefits, but also provides more coverage. Our Solid Lotion Bars and Baby Bees combine the benefits of cocoa butter, beeswax, and coconut oil in a shielding, more water-resistant option. Our magnesium lotion and spray, natural insect repellent, and Blizzard Balm muscle rub round out the lotion and balm line. Each is made from recipes crafted just for you from the purest of ingredients.
Lips don't get ignored! Whether it's our Traditional Lip Balm with sunflower oil, cocoa butter, beeswax, vitamin E, and lanolin, or whether you choose our Moo-Licious Tallow and Honey Lip Balm, your lips are in good hands with our products.
Lastly, Wild Botanical Soaps are hand-crafted in Brockway, PA and are available in several classic fragrances as well as seasonal varieties. All of these soaps are vegan and made in small batches to provide the best quality product, a standard that we uphold here at Bennetts Valley Honey Company.
The Freezer: Bundy Farms Meats & Heat‑n‑Eat Options
Bundy Farms is located just a few miles south of us, and we are one of just three locations where you can purchase their products. A small generational beef farm, their meats are grass-fed and grain-finished for the perfect combination of taste and marbling. We offer their pork options including sausage, kielbasa, and pork shoulder roasts. Their ground beef and hot dogs are the best of the best for your barbecue in our opinion, and we think that you will agree!
In addition to meats, you will also find poultry from Big Maple Family Farm. Whole birds are available for roasting or grilling.
For those with a busy schedule, we try to offer additional items, and they do vary weekly. You will often find our "take-and-bake" items including lasagna, ravioli, or other items made seasonally. We also have homemade chicken noodle soup and precooked meatballs that just need heated to your liking.
The last item to round out the freezer offerings is our Elderberry Syrup. This is not a pancake syrup; it is used homeopathically by many for its benefits of elderberry, raw honey, lemon juice, cinnamon, and other spices. It's a popular winter option with no high fructose corn syrup, unlike the commercial brands.
Bakery Items and Meals-to-Go
Most of the year, we offer bakery items on Fridays and Saturdays by pre-order and Meals-to-Go on Tuesdays, also by pre-order. Check the Calendar for what's cooking this month and click the date to order items!
